Greyhound Hall of Fame Honors Noble Animals and their Supporters

Dr. A. Morrie Craig recently retired from teaching after a long career. In addition to his continuing toxicology research work for Willamette Consulting Services, Dr. Morrie Craig maintains a strong interest in the welfare of greyhounds. In 2010, he was inducted into the Greyhound Hall of Fame because of his 30 years of research into optimum medications that address the health needs of greyhounds.

The Greyhound Hall of Fame, located in Abilene, Kansas, offers a museum featuring historical exhibits and real greyhounds serving as friendly greeters. Archives preserve the history of the sport and the memory of outstanding greyhounds and their racing careers.

Every year, the Greyhound Hall of Fame admits renowned greyhounds as well as human supporters whose work has enhanced the sport or animal well-being. The organization also awards a pair of college scholarships, contributing $1,000 each year to two recipients with connections to the sport of greyhound racing.
